Is there a good security week for Apple?

I just read an article on eWeek entitled Bad Security Week for Apple.  This article covered Apple's poor performance at the CanSecWest show.  It was no surprise that the Mac performed poorly as it never does well at these events.  What I did find surprising was that Mac users are so forgiving of just how poor the security in the Mac is.
